Who handles your data

Castillo Auto Rent A Car, located at Calle Los Javieles #32, Sector Brisas Las Américas, Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic, is responsible for the data you send through this website. You can message us on WhatsApp or call us at +1 (829) 806-2658.

What data we collect

With the booking form you give us your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email (optional), the vehicle you are interested in, the dates and, if you wish, a message.

What we use it for

Only to answer your booking request and arrange the rental with you: confirm availability, agree on dates and delivery, and give you the price. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

On what basis we process it

We process your data because you send it to us to request a booking or information, that is, with your consent. Without it we cannot reply to you.

Where it is kept and for how long

This website does not store your data in a database: the request reaches our team by email and is kept while we arrange your rental and for as long as we need it to answer for that rental. You can ask us to delete it sooner.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or hand over your data. Only our team and the companies that keep our website and email running handle it. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp’s terms.

Cookies

We only use one technical cookie on the booking page to protect the form. It is deleted when you close your browser and is not used to track you. The Google Maps map may use Google cookies (see the next section).

Google Maps map

The home page, the About page and the vehicle pages show a Google Maps map so you can find our office. When it loads, Google receives technical data from your browser, such as your IP address, and may use its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.

How we protect it

The website runs over HTTPS, the form is protected against automated submissions and your data is not stored in a database. We will never ask you for passwords or card numbers through this website.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by messaging us on WhatsApp or calling +1 (829) 806-2658, in accordance with Law 172-13 of the Dominican Republic. We will reply the same way.

Changes to this policy

If we change the way we handle your data, we will update this page and the date shown below.
